As believers in the trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, we are all given a gift. A gift is something one receives, one has access to and is something that is made available to him who receives it. Believers of God the father, the son Jesus and the Holy Spirit have access to the gift of the Holy Spirit. After receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit one begins his journey of renewing the mind. This is a maturing process called a relationship. Each believer’s walk with the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit is defined by a relationship. Relationships are based on communication. The communication that our Heavenly Father gave us, his children, is prayer. Being in prayer as often as possible will help one renew his mind. This new seed of belief will yield displayable fruit like a fruit seed will yield fruit on a tree.
Once a believer has began his journey and relationship with his Heavenly Father he will began to produce fruit from this relationship. Fruit that has a purpose of being representative of his new mind, of his new walk, his new habits, of his new behavior. The body can’t do what the mind doesn’t think of first. Now that one has a new mind, his body will display new behaviors.
Fruits of the Holy Spirit are found in Galatians 5:22-23.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
If you want to change your life for the good, you must change your thoughts, you must change your mind, you must pray and receive your gift! Your Heavenly Father wants to give you his gift, the Holy Spirit! If love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance are things you seek, open your heart to the Father and let the Holy Spirit change your life! We saw Jesus display the ways of the Holy Spirit when he walked this earth. Believing in him and through him your gift awaits! In Jesus Christ name!
